CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAYS DISPUTE

The Tramway Union has made a proposal for a conference with the Tramway Board under the Conciliation Commissioner regarding the settlement -of the trouble, and has agreed to wsmno normal running pending the result of the conference, on condition that tho suspended men are' reinstated.
