An oversea steamer loaded a cargo of frozen meat from tho Whakalane Freezing W6rks last week. Tho steamer anchored in 11 fathoms of water, one milo and a iquarter from tho heads. Despite the fact that a strong easterly wind was blowing, the lightering is said to havo proved most successful.
