At a conference of local bodies this morning a motion was passed urging on the Government to take immediate action to pass such legislation as will prevent unfair exploitation of the people of the Dominion. The Mayor of West Harbour said 70 per cent, of the extra cost of commodities was duo to the war and 'JO per cent, to downright exploitation.
