Dalgety ■ and Co. report that ;' prices for hides, as compared with last sale, were about tho same rate, while ! snper calfskins showed a slight increase. j : Tallow.values wore a shade better. ! Messrs. Murray, Eoberts and 00. report that they submitted a catalogue of 450 j , hides and 600 calfskins. Competition for 1 sound hides was animated, at fully equal to, last salo'B rates, cows showing a tenI dency to advance in price. Damaged and ■ inferior hides were rather easier.
