In the , past the Department's difficulties have been increased .hi" finding accommodation.' for railway 'patrons returning from - tire'races by the fact that a considerable number of persona who travelled.to the races by road vehicles (which on the outward journey are able to run. two-or-more trips as against only one trip from the races) have found themselves unable to get seats in the road vehicles on- the return journey, and have, therefore, returned by train, thus putting additional pressure on the accommodation available. Passengers not already holding tickets- will not be booked from Trentham by the train leaving that station at 4.47 p.m. on Saturday and Monday, October 2G and 28. Persons intending to travel by rail from the Hutt Valley stations to Wellington on Saturday or. ON SATURDAY, October 26, traffic on the 12.15 p.m. train may be fully qecu'pied by racegoers.
