The only development in the tramwny situation is that the men have agreed to the board's request for.a conference, provided it is held not Inter than to-morrow and the board's decision communicated to the men by noon on Saturday. In the meantime tho men will qjricuy' ad-' here to the regulations regarding speed. Under these the whole service has become disorgnnised, but the public are good-.humouredly putting up with the inconvenience entailed. ■
