PEACE TERMS-A SUGGESTION

Within a few iuonths the j fallacy of this theory will perhaps be | forced home ,to the Kaiser, if he be alive, \ to his junker crew, and to the German r people; hut mil the people ever know i the truth? Will they, say, in twenty j years' time, fully realise that they (Ger- .; many), after colossal expenditure of j wealtii and human lives and planning j tho greatest criminal project the 1 world j has known—will they realise that they i failed? Will it not'be that the teach- j ing in the interval will give a- view j which tho rulers'of Germany to-day ex- j pressly and! vainly try to get the. world to believe, viz., that their country was attacked and compelled to fight a defen- | sivo war?
