CLAIM FOR COMMISSION. In the Supreme Court in Banco, yesterday His Honour Mr. Justice Chapman again had before him the case of John Henry Hooper, land agent v; Edward Anderson and Co., a claim for oCG2S commission in respect to the salo of a property in Willis, Street. ■ When the ease was heard previously on certain law points His Honour's judgment was in favour of the defendants. Tlio plaintiff, who was represented by Mr. George Hutchison, filed an amended statement of claim, and yesterday" Mr. T. F. Martin, on behalf of. Edward Anderson and Co., moved for tlio dismissal of the action on the ground that the Matters contained in the amended statement of claim were, covered by the judgment of His Honour already given, For Hie plaintiff it was contended that in tlio amended statement of claim he Was not within tlio definition of tho Land A?ent« Act, .1912, and consequently was entitled to recover upon the contract, -which was partly in writing and partly verbal, andwas'further entitled, apart from the claimMo a quantum meruit.
