Three mass meetings will he held in the Town Hall on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights in the cause of prohibition. The subjects are: Thursday.. "The Demand of tho People"; Friday, "The Fallacy of National Ownership"; and on Sunday the subject will be "The Challenge of the Church." The speakers will include the lion. George Fowids. C.n.E.. Messrs. h. M. lsitt, M.P.. and 11. 8. Gray. Those interested in photography in all its forms will no doubt visit the exhibition of prints being shown at. the Art Gallery. His Worship the Mayor is to open this exhibition at 8 o'clock this evening, and it will be open dnily from 10 n.ni. to 9.30 p.m. until November 2. Thc.oxlii-' hition includes some very fine specimens of photography by well-known workers In Australia'.
