LIGHTERS DRIVEN ASHORE

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Now Plymouth, October 22. Two lighters, employed in loading meat, off Waitara, were driven ashore last night near the mouth of the Waiongona 'River. The vessel which was being loaded had to put to sea, and the lighters were unable to return to port. Both were empty.
