STORMY .MEETING OP NATIONAL ' PARTY. (Rec. October 22, 10.30 p.m.) Sydney, October 22. . A stormy meeting of the National Partv occurred when it was learned that"the final result of the preferential voting versus proportional representation ballot had resulted in a tie, twenty-five votes being cast each way. It was decided to remit the question to Cabinet, which later will submit it to the party. A proposition for a frosh ballot was defeated—Press Assn!
