Campbell's dispersal 'Bale of dairy stock at To Rehung.i, on iOctober 16, there was a Rood attendance ot ibuyere, and the sale was one of the keenest of the season. The herd was well ■known, best cows being secured by neienrbouring farmers. Top! price realised was i'jP,W, although several were sold at, from ■ £20 to £28 55., the he:d of 26 cows aver- ■ aging £20 per head, including one tnrcei quarter cow and two heifers. Prices rangied'as follow:-l two-year Jersey bull, ill (.155.;-1 fifteen-month Shorthorn bull, £14: l pigs, £3 2s. and £2 55.; milk cart mare, I £20 10s.; milk cans. £3 6s. to £2 15s. At l Dannevirke "on October 18 there was ollerIcd a medium entry of sheep and a poor i entry, of cattle (with the exception of two ilines of good Hereford steers, which wcreei

turned out unsold). Sheep sold at late rates. The folloning sales wcro made:— 105 two-tooth ewes and 62 lambs, 355. 6d.; 13 four-tooth owes and wethers, 365. Id.; 10 black-face four-tooths, 325.; 243 m.s. hoggets, 31s. 9d.; 3 cows and calves, £10 17s. fid.; 2 cows and'calves, £10 12s. 6d.; 3 dairy cows, £15 155., £12, and £6 10s.; 1 three-year heifer, at drop, £15. Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., 'Ltd., report having held a sale at the Miller's Road yards. Dannevirke, on O.etobcr 18. Thero was a fair yarding of stock, and everything sold under the hammer at satisfactory prices, oxcopt for one line of wether hogeets, which did not quite reach tho vendor's reserve. Quotations:—Cattle? Cows and calves, £0 55.; dairy cows, close to profit, from £10 to £12 10s.; heifers, from £8 10s. to £10; empty' heifers. £6; 133 wether hoggets were passed at 31s. 6d.
