Sir,—"l, , do swear that I will be faithful, and hear true allegiunco to His Majesty King George V, his heirs and successors, according to law. So help me God;" The above is an extract from ono of your recent issues setting out the oath of allegiance that every successful candidate i'o; Parliamentary honouM must 6\vear before ho will bo permitted to take his seat in the House of Eoproscntatives. Can an anti-conscriptionist, a man who refuses to join in the National Anthem, and who openly asserts that Royalty must bo done away with, take such a solemn oath? And would Parliament, knowing that such a man attempted so to do, permit the mockery of such a solemn oath?—J am, etc., INQUIK-KK,
