SOLDIER CAPTURES A GERMAN ■ STAFF.

An official American wireless message was received in Sydney on October 10 by, the. Consul-General for the United States, to the effect that an American soldier, Corporal 3?. Hubbell, of Toledo. Ohio, had, single-handed, captured ft German artillery staff, consisting of a major, three captains, six lieutenants, and 22 privates, on Mont Blanc.
