Ho quoted Land Court minutes showing that the Kotorua lakes were included in the claims and a judjiment proving that the Maoris had property rights therein. Ho referred to English authorities, 'especially the Loush Ilea east, contendiiia that the law recognised the riaht of property in lakes. The Court adiourned to Monday, when Mr. Earl will call evidence.
