Wedding at Foxton. The wedding took place in the MefcJiodist Church, i'oxton, en Uctober 10 oi Mr. L. Dullard, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. I£. Bullard, w Miss Dons Signal, second (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Signal. Tne parents of both bride and bridegroom tire well known residents of the l''oston district, and many friends were onlookers at the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. A. Harding, the service being fully choral. Tho church had been prettily decorated for the occasion with flowers' and foliage. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a silk irock trimmed with shadow-lace and pearl embroideries, and her veil was fastened with sprays <'f orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of white azaleas cyclamen, and white stock. Miss Signal (sister), wearing pale blue silk eohenne and a black crepe de chene hat, lined with pale pink, was bridesmaid, and two little ihildreu, .Ngaire Ingle and Frank Cowley, were also in attendance, the little girl wearing a, pale pink silk frock and a pink silk hat to match. The little, boy wore a white satin suit i.nd lat to match. Mr. Hoy Robinson was the best man, and like the bridegroom is a. returned soldier. After the ceremony a reception was held tt "Wharepai," the residence of tho bride's parents, where the usual toasts were honoured. Arum liles and pink azaleas formed tho decorations of the various rooms. The bride's mother wore navy blue silk eolienne and a navy blue crepe de chene hat with pale pink roses, and the bridegroom's mother was in black ,satin, with a black and white hat. Mr. and Mrs. Bullard later on in the afternoon left for Palmerston North en route for the north, the latter wearing a pale fawn costume and fawn* hat, with touches of vieux rose. Y.W.C.A. Notes. Tho annual business meeting of members of the Y.W.C.A. will take place on October 28.. The Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, the chairman of the Advisory Board, will preside. The report and balance-sheet will be read, and elector or voting members will exerciso the privilege of electing members to fill the vacancies on the board of directors; The following ladies retire from office in accordance with the constitution and are eligible for re-election for a further period of threo years:—Mrs. A. Hoby; Miss Kate La'wson, Miss M'Lean, M.A., Mrs. C. D. Morpeth, Mrs. W. H. George, Miss Tingey. The business meeting will be followed by a conversazione, at which the hostesses will bo Mrs. Pearson, Mrs. J. P. Luke, Mrs. Shirtcliffe, Mrs. Hoby, Mrs. Adamson, Miss Lawson, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. C. D. Morpeth, Mrs. Bonnie, Mrs. George, Mrs. M'Clay, Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Murdoch, Mrs. M'Eldowney, and Miss Tingey. At the Y.W.C.A. Clubrooms tomorrow, at 4.15, there will be a short meeting for girls and young women. It is expected that tho Hew J. H. Boyd will give the address. Tho service will be followed by a tea and social hour, Avhon strangers to. the city will be cordially received.
