A preliminary announcement is published in tills issue regardiuy the Labour Day celebrations. In addition to the spo'vts which-have' been a Tegular feature of tho celebrations during the last few years, it is- proposed to hold a ■demonstration in the King's Theatre on Sunday evening. ;A concert will follow the' sports, and will bo held in the large Town Hall on the evening of Labour Day, the artists assisting including; Misses.-Francis rnd Morrison, also leading local artists. Tickets mny he secured from any member of the Labour Day Committee or from the Trades Hall, Vivian' Street.
