. Mr. T. Sowersby, Kopaki, has had a unique experience on his farm, reports the' "Te Kuiti Chronicle." A cow Rave birth to a calf, and despite all efforts made no milk could be secured . from the cow for a period of seventeen days, when the same cow gave birth to another calf, since 'when a good supi ply of milk is being secured. : Messrs. S. George Nathan and Co. offered for sale by public auction yesterday afternoon in the Chamber of Commerce two properties, the first being a cottage' property in M'lntyre Avenue, off Hawker Street, which was sold to Mrs. Morton for £575. The second was a building section on [Tpland Road, Kelburn, but as the reserve was not reached it was passed in, and is now open for private sale.
