A number of stock exhibits from the Wairarapa were taken through to the Hawke's Bay Show on Monday. Twenty-five new members were elected at a meeting of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society on Saturday. A sum of £171 13s. 4d. was taken at the Masterton Patriotio Shop on Saturday in aid of the Red Cross funds.' : At a meeting 6f the General Committee of ,tho Masterton A. and P. It is expected that fifteen boards will participate in the chess match between Wellington and • .Wairarapa, to be played on Labour Day, The Masterton A.' and P. Association has accepted an offer of the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Breeders' Association ' of. a, gold medal for competition at the next show. Satisfactory entries have been 'received by- the Wairarapa P. and A. Society for the show to be held this month. '
