KARORI CLUB
The Karori Defence Riflo Club opened its shooting season on Saturday afternoon with a match between teams selected by the president and deputypresident at ranges of 200 and 500 yards. The Old Naval Rifle Club opened the' season's shooting on the Miramar range on Saturday with a team's'match, president's v. F. Standidge's team. The conditions were nine shots and a sighter at each 200 and 500 yards. The results of the match was a win for F. Standidge's team by 84 points. Following are the scores:— ■ Rflmn. The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club opened their shooting season at Broadway, . Miramar, on Saturday. Teams matches, selected by the president and deputy-president from members present, were fired at ranges, ten shots at 200 yds., and seven shots at 500 yds. In conjunction with this match a special handicap match on the day's shooting.for a trophy presented by Mr. H. Futter was won by Rifleman G. Emms, who shot exceptionally well.
