By Tolegraph— Press Association. Chrisfchurch, October 11. A cargo of Australian wheat arrived at Lyttelton during tbo week, and will bo distributed among tho North Canterbury millers. Oats are very scarce, only an odd line of Algerians coming forward occasionally. Inquiry for oatsheaf chaff is a little quieter. Prices are firm for good bright chaff. Up to £7 10s. has been paid at country stations for exceptionally good lines, but the ordinary primo sells at from £6 10s. to £7 55., and inferior at all prices from about £2 10s. upwards. Potatoes.—The market is firm, and up to £10 at country stations has been paid for sound samples. Other purchases have been made at from £9 10s. and £9 155..
