TRAINING FOR OFFICERS

IN TRENTHAM CAMP,

It is announced in district orders that arrangements can be made to admit •into Trentham Camp, at periodic intervals, officers and n.c.o. s of tie Territorial and .Cadet Forces, for the purposes of undergoing instruction. The Wellington district has the powei of nominating one officer and one n.c.o. for each class of physical training, drill, and musketry for four weeks. The dates for the respective classes for the nest three months at the abovementioned camp are as trolknv :—lnran-try-One week from date of concentration of first section of draft; physical and bayonet training-flth course, October 8, 1918; 10th course, November 5 1918. These dates are approximate. The musketry course will be taken with the Fiftieth n.c.o.'s Arrangements will be made for otti-cers-on Unattached List (b), who are masters at a secondary school, Jr they so desire, to attend a courso of instruction at Trentham Camp in physical training. The length of the course will be twenty-one days, and the conditions will be similar to those governing other courses of instruction, namely, that officers will be given quarters and rations, but will not receive pay for the course. It is important that any officers desiring to take advantage of this opportunity should send uTtheir names as early as possible.
