RUGBY FINANCE
WELLINGTON HAS A GOOD SEASON. A draft balance-sheet was presented by the treasurer (Mr. T. Jones) to the Wellington Rugby Union last night, and it showed that the union will come through the season with a credit balri'.ico of about £400. Members expressed themselves as well satisfied with tho result of the season's operations. They thought the •union had dono well to eliow sueli a good profit in war time, particularly as in pre-war years they had had sunie very lean seasons.
