Returning J'rom London after completing his training in the artillery schools, he- was attached to the 4th Howitzer Battery of tho 3rd.Brigade, whore he met l:is death. His brother (Lieutenant Fred J. Cox), who lost the sight. of an eye at tho Samme, is expected to rcturn'in a draft duo in Auckland in a few days.
