The largest winged insect in the world is the atlas moth of Cent' Brazil. Its wings extend fourteen inches from tip to tip. Private Britland, East Lancashire Regiment, lias had a piece of shrapnel extracted from his heart while in Leeds Infirmary. The numher of Dover men who have joined the services is greater in proportion than the number from any othei torai in England.
