CANON MAYNE APPOINTED,

The Bishop of Waiapu lias appointed Canon Mayno, M.A., of Napier, Dean of Waiapu.
[The new Dean was educated at Hatfield Hall University, Durham. Hβ was ordained priest in 1894, For tiro years ho was assistant curate of St. Cuthbert's, WellB l during the same period being classical master at Wells Cathedral School. From 1893 to 1893 lie was an assistant master at Christ's College, aftor which ho wa-s curate rt All Saints', Wellington, England,.and. later, nt St. John's, Roslyn. In 1900 he was appointed a Canon of St. Paul's, Dunedin, and in 1906 of St. John's Pro-Oatliedral, Napier.]
