SEVEN MEN CHARGED. By TelcEraDh.-Press Association. Auckland, Ocoißer 2. At the Police Court to-day, James Daverri, Edward J. M'Lelland, Clmrles l< , . M'Cormiek, Patrick Gunn, Walter N. Papesch, Thomas W. Gunn, and Alexander R. Gunn appeared on charges totalling 23 in number m connection with recent burglaries. Davcrn, M'Lolland, and Jl'Cormick pleaded guilty in respect to. tho burglary at W. E. Hutchmson's on August 22 and tho Bacon Company's ou August 30, and woro committed for sentence. M'Cormick pleaded guilty and Patrick Gmin not guilty to. burglary-at Barlon's boot factory oil September 10, and were committed for sentence and trial respectively. Davcrn, M'Lelland, and Papesoh pleaded guilty and woro committed for sentence for burglary at the Electrical Construction Company s on September 8. Other charges will bo heard to-morrow. ■_
