WORSER BAY CLUB,

Tho eighth annual meeting of the Worser Buy Swimming Club was held in the clubhouse on. Saturday ■ evening,! when there was a good attendance, Mr. W. H. Green presiding. The report jn.iJ balance-sheet were adopted. Offi,cers were elected for the ensuing-sea-, soil as follow:—Patron; Mr. R. A., "Wright, M.P;; president, Mr. \\. H. Green- .vice-presidents, iWessrs. J.-' Brodie, E. Collie,' W. W. ißowntree, J' , Silver, B. K. Robertshaw, and M. Manthel; captain, Mr. C T. Bell; vicecaptain and. treasurer, Mr. F. J. R. Heath; secretary,-. Mr. J. W. Hall; management-committee, Mossrs. P.ycroft, Allen, E.'Brodio/AVarcup, Davidson, Cooper, Hall, junr. It was announced that Mr. Blick had prosenv erl a cup for competition among jnniov swimmers The need for a new, clubhonse has been found a great handicap in carrying on thu work of tho club, and the meeting authorised the committee.to proceed with its erection at once. Several names were added to tho membership during the evening. Mention was made of the services rendered to the. club by Mr. J. Brodie during tho eight-years he has occupied tho office of president, and hearty thanks were tendered to him. .
