SWEDEN'S SHIPPING LOSSES
175 .VESSELS AND 220 LIVES.
New York, September 27. The Stockholm correspondent of the .'.'Ciiicngo News" states that Sweden during the war has lost 175 ships, totalling 195,953 tons, and 220 lives. During tho present year Sweden has lost 27 ships, totalling 46,698 tons,; and '33 lives. The ships lost includo those torpedoed, blown up by mines, and "spurlos versenkt" (sunk without a trace).— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
