RED CROSS "OUR DAY" APPEAL.
In our advertising columns the Flag Drive Committee express regret that, owing to the number of voluntary workers in connection' with, the scheme being limited, it has been impossible during the last few days Ja canvass all the establishments in Wellington city and suburbs, .but it is hoped that this will bo done during the next week. ■ Meautimo those wishing to have flags immediately are advised to communicate with the oihce, doU Lambton Quay, telephone No, Udo, when same will be sent per special mosseugers. As the, .number'.'of workers connected with the various 'sled Cross and patriotic bodies has been insufficient'to cover tho whole of the cistricts, the committee would bo glad_W receive volunteers for working the following districts-.-Newtown, Seatoun, Berhampore, Kilbirme, Brooklyn, Cambridge and Kent Terraces, and tie •streets adjoining from Majonbanks Street to Laureston Street, and streets contiguous to Wallace Street and Upper Cuba Street. . Those wishing to co-operate in tWB eood work are requested to communicate with the secretary as. early as possible. No doubt many willing workeis who are not attached to any established organisation will take advantage ot this opportunity.
