Weathor changeable and Bqnally, -with rain following generally. Barometer lias a rising, tondency, but falling again ovevywhero shortly for a westerly storm-area-, now apparently developing Jn tho Tasman Sea. North-west to south-west winds strong to gale, have prevailed, with changeable and showery conditions, especially in tho West Coast and southern districts.
