Indian native officers and 1358 men have died, said Mr. Hope in the House of Commons in July. The Prisoners in Turkey Committee, in view of the difficulty, in effecting nil exchange with Turkey by sea, recommends an exchange through the lines in Palestine, and hopes that tho delegates will not bo restricted to a man-for-man basis.
