Horracks,, licensee of the Tnsman 'Hotel, was charged with supplying liquor before tho. lawful hours of opening, with exposing liquor before hours, of selling liquor "before hours, and with permitting treating. The onse rested on tho evidence of α-constable, supported , by certain admissions made l)y_ another defendant, Who was charged with treating, but denied by him in tho box. Horracks was convicted on all the charges, and fined £40 for 'treating, £10 for supplying, £1 each for exposing and selling, and on the last charge the license was' endorsed. Bass, a barman, -was convicted of .permitting treating, and was fined £10. Ono man on tho promises was fined £7 10s., and anothor £0.. _ ' ■iS'ecurity for appeal was given in all cases.
