'MAN'S DEATH CAUSED BY MOTORCAR. By Tdeenph.-Press Association. Hamilton, September 25. Adam Fort, a middle-aged watchmaker and jeweller, was knocked down by a motor-car yesterday. He sustained a fracture of the skull, and died in the Waikato Hospital last night. DEATH FROM SELF-INFLICTED INJURIES. * Dunedin, September 25. At an inquest on-the body of George Read, found dead at Milburn yesterday, the evidence indicated that deceased had placed some gelignite under an arm, an explosion causing fatal injuries. A verdict,was returned that death was due to injuries self-inflicted while deceased was in an unsound'state of mind.
The name of Mr. F. H. Taylor was inadvertently omitted from the list of vice-presidents 'of the. Wellington Cricket Association published yesterday. The name "W. H. Sawyer" on the Management Committee should read "W. II." Granger."
