PUBLIC FEELING! AGAINST ■ GENERAL ELECTION. London, September 24. The newspapers state that a general election in Novomber is unlikely, unless circumstances change in the meantime. Though the Government never actually deckled in favour of an election in November, it_ still considers there aie arguments in favour of it. On the other hand there appears to bo strong public feeling opposed to the idea.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
