YESTERDAY'S APPEALS. The First Wellington Military' Service Board sat yesterday to dea[ with, oier 50 appeals. The board consists of Messrs. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., D. M'Laren, and G. Cooper. Adjournments sine die were made in the eases of tlio following reservists who were\nppealed for by the Union Steam Ship Company:—A. C. M'sl aster, AY. N. Aimers, J. G. Bannatyne, A. W. C. Mac Donald, 8.-L. Anowsmitb (ship's engineers), H. S. Whyton (ship's master), D. M'Phorson, G. G. Grey (first officers), J. H, Owen (third officer), J. B-. Clarke (second officer), and J. Every-Clayton (rade-t). Appeals by the AVatw-iide Workers' Union were made for the following:— George iUexander Johnstone, Laurence Johnston, Joseph Kerthore Bolhamine, —. M'C'arthy, Thomas William Hart, Albert O'Brien, George Frederick Newton, Harry Stowcrs, Chironce Bredon Smith, Charles-Thomas Lawton, Pressney John Farrow. Hugh .Cnllaghan, Patrick Murphy, Albert Ernest Siimmerhayes, George Luininis, Arcliibald Cojlinge, Mark Byrne. In all caaes decision was reserved. Private Erin Meier, who is to be attached to a hospital ship, was cfiven three months' leave on account of the state of health of bis father.
