A new meat schedule raises the wholcsalo prices of beef by Bs. per 1001b., and the retail prices of beef are increased by an average irf a penny a pound, though best cuts liavo advanced from two to threepence. Mutton has advanced a halfpenny all round; lamb is practically unchanged.—Press Assn.
