AUSTRIA'S PEACE OFFER
AUSTRIAN FOREIGN MINISTER'S VIEW. (Reo. September 24, 11 p.m.) London, September 11. A message from Berlin gives a lengthy interview ' with Baron Burian (Austrian Foreign Minister). Kefernng to the Allies' reception of the Peace Note, he foreshadows fresh pacilist moves from tlie Central Powers. He alleges that the Note achieved one subsidiary purpose, having revealed differences in the opposing camps, of which the haste of President Wilson' to reply is an. outstanding example.—Aus.-NTz. Cable Assn. WILL BE PREPARED TO ACCEPT AMERICA'S 14 POINTS. (Reo. September 24, 8.80 p.m.) The Hague, September 23. Austria is expected shortly to launch another peace offer, expressing readiness to accept President Wilson's fourteen points.
