Tlio Admiralty reports:—"Between September 17 and 21 the air force contingents attached to the Nav.y m.id o four raids on tlio Bruges docke, dropping eight tons of bombs. They also successfully bombed iivo aerodromes. In air fighting wo destroyed six enemy machines and drovo down five out of control. _Thrco of ours are missing. A liostilo balloon, which was shot down, fell in flames on a balloon camp, sotting on firo three hangars—all burnt out. Co-operating with tlie Greek naval aircraft, we bombed Constantinople on the nights of September 20 and 21. Bombs burst on Maidrn Pasha station and also the" buildings northward, the Admiralty and in Stamboul, where many thousands of propagauda leaflets were dropped. Sir Douglas Ham's aviation report states: "Overcast and showery weather prevailed. Wo dropped eleven tons of vbombs, and destroyed eight hostile machines. Four of ours are miss'ng. Ihe L6kal Anzciger s correspondent says that the Kaiser totired the West front, especially Alsace and Lorraine, with a view tt improving the moral of the troops. "The Kaiser mingles with the men, showing himself to be their kamerad, and inviting them to fight whole-heartedly."
