ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FALL FBOM A LADDER. An electric linesman named John Reynolds, residing at the Soldiers' Hostel, while at work at Oriental Bay yesterday morning, fell from a ladder and sustained concussion of the spine. He was removed to the- hospital. A BROKEN LEG. A guest at the Empire Hotel named Mrs. E. Clouston accidentally slipped on a floor of the hotel yesterday and broke one of her logs. She is being treated at the hospital. WHARF WORKER INJURED. A wharf worker named Thomas Holding, of 116 Ghuzneo Street, yestorday morning fell from a staging on an overseas steamer berthed at the Glasgow Wharf, aud -struck his back on the combings of ono of the hatches. He was,injured about the ribs, and was removed to the Hospital. MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED IN COLLISION. By Megrapii.—Press Association. Christchuroh, September 23.
