TWO MEN SERIOUSLY INJURED

Taumarunui, September 23,

Archibald Kitto, a returned soldier, who was twice wounded, and Tom Borthwick, a married man, were badly injured by an explosion in tho Okahu tunnel tliis morning. Kitto- was injured in the head and his arms and legs were fractured. Borthwick suffered eye injuries. Both men were taken by a special train to Taumarunui Hospital.
