THE SESSION
A notice in a Gazette Extraordinary announces that Parliament is prorogued from October 5 till October 25, and tiio present intention of the Government is that Parliament shall meet for t;he transaction of business on that date. The geueral belief is that the session will last less than two months, and that members will be able to spend Christmas at thoir homes.
