Nelson, September 20. ■ Mr Arthur Hansford, manager of the Kairura Marble Quarry, which is supplying marble for the Parliamentary Buildings, died in the hosmtal last evening from injuries sustained by a fall from a mail car at Richmond oil Wednesday afternoon; He had asked the driver to stop, but jumped oft while the car was still moving, and fell, sustaining a severe fracture or the base of the skull. Deceased, who was an expert in quarry work, was a. brother of one of the contractors for ,the' Parliamentary Buildings.
