"HEATHERLEA" ESTATE SALE.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in ■.conjunction with ' Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report bavin" held the auction sale of portion 01 the "Heatherlea" Estate in the King a Theatre. Levin, yesterday,. on'account of (lie trustees of the- estate of tho late J. R. M'Donald., There was a vei7 large attendance of the public, and melding was keen. The whole of this portion of the csta+.e was disposed under the hammev., containing 611 acres, au prices which- are considered exceptionally satisfactory. J; Smith, £76 per acre; Lot 7, 12 acres, J. Lane, £78 per aore;_ Lot 8, 12 acres, B. Smith, £62 per acre; Loo 9, 10 acres, James A very, £70 per acre;\Lot 10, 10 acres, James Avery, £80 per acre; Lot 12, 26 acres, AV. S. Park, £50 per acre; Lot 13, it acres, W.'S. Park, £66 10s. per acre; Lot 14, 32 acres, W. S. Park, £95 per acre; Lot 15, 30 acres, AY. S. Park, £50 per acre; Lot ]6, 32 acres, George Kilsby, £68 per acre; Lot 17, 4G acres, AV. Lot No. 11, comprising 10 acres, was sold before the sale to the Levin Cooperative Dairy Company, which intends erecting a factory thereon, lhe 2553 acres of '.'Arapaepao" Estate,, 111 three lots, was also submitted to auction, but was passed in. Tho auctiou-ee-3 are now treating for disposal privately. The balance of "Heatherlea' Estate wilkbe submitted for auction at Levin on October 16. Full, details of the lots,to be submitted, with new plans, will bo available shortly.
