GERMANY'S FOOD CRISIS
MASS MEETING OF 20,000 HUNGRY PEOPLE. . (Rec. September 19, 10.20 p.m.) Amsterdam, September 18. Twenty thousand people attended ft mass meeting at Dresden to protest against the Government's management of the food distribution. The "Leipziger Abend Zeitung states that Germany has obtained frota the Ukraine 11,200 wagon loads of food, 750,000 poods of hemp, sixty per cent, of the Ukraine's metal production, 1,400,000 hides, and half a million poods of tobacco. ; ■ . ■ ' -.
