RUMANIA'S HOPE
TO AGAIN MARCH WITH THE ALLIES
Hew York, September 18. Lieutenant Stocia, Vice-President of fcho Rumanian National Council at Paris, who is now in the United States to obtain the consent of Congress for the Rumanian Legion to fight with the Americans, said: "When the news came that America had entered the war Rumania wont wild with delight. To-day every Rumanian boyond tlie power of tho Germans is determined to fight until an enduring peaco has been won, under the lead of tho United States. When tho Rumanian Kingdom can' re-establish its communications with the Allies, Rumania will again march against tho common foe." Lieutenant Stocia told a woeful tale of Russia's betrayal of Rumania, and the iudescribablo sufferings of tho Rumanians at present under German op-pression."—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
