Mr. Lloyd George lias written to the Amalgamated Association of Operative Cotton Spinners, emphasising the seriousness of the fact thai, any strike will increase the task of the bravo men who are fighting the enemy. Ho asks tho cotton-spinners to return to work, and leave tho decision of tho matters in dispute to the Government nlftor an inquiry by a tribunal which tho Government will at once appoint.—Aus.-N.Z.
