■The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held last evening. Present—Mr. A. E. Wells (chairman), Messrs. W. ■ Duucan, C. Ward, O. Webster, W. Auld, H. Yeoman, A. Smith, and A. Williams (lion, secretary). With regard to the match Auckland v. Wellington, this game will take place at Athletic Park on, October 4 (by permission •• of. tho Wellington - Rugby Union), providing the date is suitable to Auckland. 'Hie Third Division representative game, Canterbury v. Wellington, will take plncoon Saturday next at Association Park. Tho, team to meet Canterbury will bo Tarrant (goal), Fitzgerald, Jones (backs), M'Arthur, Rarity, Lewisj J. Smith, Houston,; M'EUigott, Porter, Knowlos-Smith; reserves, Pearson, Brady, Trott, Moore, and Halloy. , The Canterbury team will be billeted by, local friends. Entries for the Scouts' competition will close oil 'September 25. , A motion of condolence was moved to the parents in connection with the deaths at the front of Messrs. J. Roberts and W. J. Taylor.
