WELLINGTON AFFAIRS/ ■ The Management Committee of the Wellington rlugby Union met last evening. There were present: Messrs. D. D. Weir (chairman), J. Lundon, A. C. Kitto, A. J. Griffiths, It. J. M'llTvrnith, W. H. Donovan, W. W. Cook, J : . N. Millard, G. A., Howe,- and 1. H. Jones (lion. Secretary). It was decided to play the FetonePonoke match again next Saturday. The proceeds will go to patriotic funds, and tickets already sold for the match first fixed to be played that day will be honoured at the gate. The match between Wellington and Trentham is to be played on September 28. , Permission was given the following Government Departments to play matches at Athletic .Park on Dominion Day-'—Oowwrncnt Printing Office (morning); Public Trust Office and Government Life Office (afternoon). . The Marist Bros.' Old Boys' team was given permission to visit Wanganui on September 21. . The Wellington Schools will be allowed to meet" the Hutt Valley Schools at Petone on September 21. The Football Association was granted 'the use of Athletic Park for October 4. when the Wellington and Auckland Association match is to be nlaypd. The Football Association is to be 'charged 10 per cent, of the gate, dud that nerewtagp is to go to the Mayor's Fund for the entertainment of soldiers.
