LAUNCHED UNDER EXCELLENT . AUSPICES. Sydney, September 17. The seventh war loan of the forty million has been launohed with excellent prospects. A feature is the keen competition between various districts in raising their allotted quotaß—Preßß Assn. "" (Rec. September. 17., 10.60 p.m.) September 17. The Assistant-State Treasurer,,in appealing for contributions to the War Loan, forecasted that this would M tho last loan immune from State ta*&tion. Tho Government would not impose further State taxes during the war, but intended going after them when tho war was over.—Press Assn.
